Data-logging & Surveys

Central Compressor Services will conduct a free site survey to evaluate your compressed air system; as part of most surveys we will install temporary data-loggers that automatically record the energy usage. Data-logging is extremely important as It allows us to view your average, minimum and maximum air demand over a period of one week; this allows us to correctly size new equipment and determine leak rates. Once we have collected the data The charts below show 1a) The average air demand, 1b) The fluctuations in air demand, 2) A comparison between new and current installation (kW/m3-min), 3) Savings calculations 
 

Included in our reports will be energy savings and either payback periods or Carbon Trust Loan repayments; we will make recommendations about energy saving products such as variable speed drive compressors, heat recovery systems and air knives. We will also advise about enhanced capital allowances (1st year tax relief) which can equate to £'000s depending on the size of the compressor.
