Variable Speed Screw Compressors – the smart solution
Variable speed compressors can efficiently and reliably handle the varying air demand found in most plant air systems. These compressors speed up or slow down to match air supply to air demand as it fluctuates. The right variable speed compressor for the application delivers significant energy savings and a consistent stable air supply. Typically a variable speed compressor will save 30% energy compared to an identical kW constant speed compressor operating at 60% duty.
Gardner Denver manufactures a comprehensive range of smart variable speed compressors from 11kW to 250kW providing outputs from 56 CFM to 1500 CFM.
Rotary Screw Compressors – fixed speed
Where a relatively constant air demand exists a fixed speed rotary screw compressor will give optimum value for money. Gardner Denver has an excellent range from 20 CFM to 2,600 CFM. The Electra-Screw models are a proven product with an excellent reputation for reliability and economy.
Where space is at a premium the new ESE range features optional refrigerant dryer and air receiver all mounted in one convenient integrated package – these are available from 14 CFM to 77 CFM - with the advantage of in-built filtration these units are an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution.
Vane Compressors
As an option for small to medium sized applications, vane compressors are compact and efficient; the main advantage of this design over a piston compressor is the much lower noise levels and the ability of continuous operation.
CCS supplies good used Hydrovane units and new Mattei vane compressors. The perfect solution for small workshops where staff are working alongside the machine, smaller models are available for 220 volts where three phase is not available.
Reciprocating / Piston Compressors
Where low cost simplicity and ultimate ruggedness are required, in tough environmental conditions, CCS is able to provide no-nonsense heavy duty reciprocating compressors for most applications.
For larger specialist applications CCS can assemble and rebuild the Bellis & Morcom and Compair BroomWade VM range with capacities up to 2,000 CFM.
CCS also offers a range of smaller cast iron, heavy-duty reciprocating compressors which are relatively low speed in operation making them quieter than typical piston machines and longer lasting. These are available from 5 CFM to 80 CFM. For mobile use, where access to mains electricity is inconvenient, petrol-driven options are available. These units range from 5 CFM to 25 CFM. We also offer a single phase (240v) compressor able to generate
23 CFM.
Ultra low noise Compressors
For dental clinics and other applications where very low noise levels are paramount we can offer the perfect solution, Bambi and Jun-Air products. These units can also have integrated desiccant dryers and breathing air filtration from a variety of options and variants perfectly matched to give you the quality of air required.
Vacuum Pumps
Where there is a requirement for suction, CCS can supply new vacuum pumps from Busch, Becker and Rietschle.
